The separatists actively participated in hostilities against the Ukrainian military in the areas of Donetsk, Debaltseve, Shirokino and Dokuchaevsk.
During a special operation in the Odessa and Kharkov regions, counterintelligence officers of the SBU detained two former members of illegal armed groups who were involved in the shelling of positions of anti-terrorist operation forces. About this on Friday, August 13, informs press service of the SBU.
According to the investigation, the separatists during 2014-2016 actively participated in hostilities against the Ukrainian military in the regions of Donetsk, Debaltseve, Shirokino and Dokuchaevsk.
Security investigators informed the detainees of suspicion of participation in a terrorist group or terrorist organization (part 1 of article 258-3 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine).
Investigative actions are ongoing to establish all the circumstances of the unlawful activities of the suspects and bring to justice other persons involved in crimes against the state security of the country.
