Two college students in the Cherkasy region threatened to carry out a mass execution of their classmates.
SBU declares on the prevention of a terrorist attack in one of the colleges in the Cherkasy region.
“In the course of the investigative-operational actions, two students were exposed who threatened to carry out a mass execution of their classmates. The attackers seized the pistols. They disseminated information about the preparation for the terrorist attack through the social network VKontakte, banned in Ukraine,” the message says.
According to the investigation, it was established that two students of a local college via the Internet disseminated messages using photo and video materials about planning for the mass execution of classmates.
The attackers also urged through social networks to join their criminal group for physical violence against their peers.
During searches at places of residence, law enforcement officers found: two pistols, computer equipment and means of communication with evidence of illegal activity.
Investigative actions continue to establish all the circumstances of the offense and bring the perpetrators to justice.
According to UP, the detainees – 18 years old. A possible motive for their intentions is bullying by their classmates. Now the boys are under the supervision of their parents, the issue of precautionary measures will be decided after receiving the conclusions of the examination.
