[스포츠서울 이게은기자] Broadcaster Sayuri’s parents expressed their honest feelings about the daughter’s self-proclaimed unmarried mother.
On the 2nd, Sayuri posted a video on her YouTube channel’Sayuri TV’ entitled’Being a novice mother at Japan’s only postpartum care center’, and included a video of her parents’ interview along with her postpartum care in Japan.
Sayuri’s father confessed, “(At first) I thought it was difficult for my daughter to become a single mother. I thought that we should protect it from the mind that I don’t want my grandson’s future to become unstable.” Sayuri’s mother also said, “It was difficult, but I couldn’t help it. As I was getting older, I thought I could find someone who would become a father with a child first.”
The reason Sayuri named her son’Zen’ was also revealed. Sayuri said, “I hate long names. It means’my everything’ in Chinese characters, but my son is my everything, so I made it like this,” said Sayuri. “I haven’t thought of a Korean name yet. If you have a good name that is easy to pronounce, please let me know.”
He also said he wants his son to be a person with a straightforward personality above all else. Sayuri joked, “You don’t have to study. I didn’t have a good brain.” Said.
Meanwhile, Sayuri gave birth to a child by donating sperm in November of last year. It is known that this decision was made after being diagnosed with a possible pregnancy difficulties. Also, the thought that she could not get married in a hurry to get pregnant also accelerated Sayuri’s actions.
