Passengers injured on bus

On Tuesday, two women (57, 72) were injured in a traffic accident in a bus on Fiedlerstrasse.
The bus (driver 52) wanted to drive through a barrier system onto the university hospital grounds. Since a cyclist was passing the spot in front of him, the bus driver had to brake. The two women fell on the bus, leaving the younger woman seriously injured and the older woman slightly injured. The cyclist continued. There was no material damage. (lr)
Cars broken into

Location: Dresden-Omsewitz
Unknown people broke into two cars on Lise-Meitner-Straße.
The perpetrators pried open the passenger windows of an Opel Zafira and a Mercedes Sprinter and searched the interior. Apparently nothing was stolen from the Opel; the perpetrators stole a laptop from the Mercedes. A final amount of damage is not yet known. (lr)
Motorhome broken into

Ort: Dresden-Gorbitz
Unknown people broke into a Fiat mobile home on Hainbuchenstrasse. The perpetrators destroyed a side window and searched the entire vehicle. It is not yet known whether anything was stolen. The material damage amounts to around 500 euros. (ml)
Meißen district
False promise of winnings

Location: Riesa
Yesterday afternoon, unknown people tried to defraud a senior citizen (90) from Riesa with the so-called promise of winnings.
A perpetrator called the 90-year-old and promised him a prize of 6,000 euros. In order to receive the money, however, he had to purchase voucher cards worth 1,000 euros and send them to the caller. The 90-year-old recognized the attempted fraud, ended the phone call and called the police. (ml)
Perpetrators wanted money

Location: Meissen
Yesterday evening two unknown people tried to rob a man (28) on Großenhainer Straße.
The two perpetrators initially asked the 28-year-old for cigarettes, but shortly afterwards demanded his cash. When he said no, the unknown men hit the man and slightly injured him. Shortly afterwards, a car happened to approach the scene, whereupon the perpetrators fled.
The criminal police are investigating attempted robbery. (ml)

Sports hall smeared

Location: Neustadt in Saxony
In the past few days, unknown people have daubed the walls of a sports hall on Maxim-Gorki-Strasse.
The perpetrators sprayed slogans and number combinations with black paint. The amount of damage is not yet known. The police are investigating property damage. (lr)
Home burglary

In the past few days, unknown people broke into an apartment on the main street.
The perpetrators pried open the door and searched the rooms. Ultimately they stole 50 euros and an EC card. There is no information yet on property damage. (ml)
