In 2021 and 2022, Saxony will participate in the federal cinema program for the future. That was decided by the cabinet in Dresden today.
Accordingly, a total of half a million euros are available to support investments.
This should enable movie theaters in smaller cities to position themselves better against the background of growing competition from streaming services.
Applications can be submitted to the Sächsische Aufbaubank.
The federal government is making a total of 25 million euros available.
