After partial collapse of the Carola Bridge in Dresden The city has closed several streets. Diversions via Albertbrücke and Wilsdruffer Straße
- According to the city of Dresden, car traffic will be diverted via the Albert Bridge.

Because of the partial collapse, no shipping traffic is possible in the bridge area in the Elbe. “Those who don’t have to go through there can sail,” said a spokesman for the Dresden Water and Shipping Authority. The “White Fleet” canceled all of its scheduled trips for Wednesday. “We are trying to carry out planned charter trips and divert them to other ships,” said a spokesman for the company.

However, three historic steamers could travel up the Elbe towards Saxon Switzerland, the “Wehlen”, “Krippen” and “Diesbar” are moored above the bridge on the quay.
