Unsurprisingly, Sadbor then decided to quit his job as a traveling tailor. From the live TikTok, Sadbor was able to renovate his house and even contributed IDR 14 million to build a road in his village.

After Sadbor became the center of attention, many local residents were interested in following in his footsteps. Sadbor then had ‘workers’ from housewives, timber traders, farmers, builders to the unemployed.

But what happened next, it is also TikTok that made Sadbor now spend time in jail from Friday (1/11/2024). Sadbor ran into trouble after he was suspected of promoting online gambling while broadcasting live on his social media account.

The arrest of Gunawan ‘Sadbor’ was clearly a shock. Because a few days before, he clarified during TikTok live, denying that he and his team were connected to online gambling. But, as if the rice had turned into porridge, Sadbor’s brightness was indeed vain.

On Monday (4/11/2024), the Sukabumi Police finally released the judol promotion case made by Sadbor. Apart from Sadbor, the police named his colleague, A Supendi alias Toed, as a suspect.

“It started with a public complaint, and then it was followed by a cyber patrol from the Sukabumi Police Criminal Investigation Unit, together with the Director General of the West Java Regional Police, and it was suppressed by the Cyber ​​Crime Investigation Department​​​​​​​​​​ the Police. ,” Sukabumi Police Chief AKBP Samian said.

During the patrol, the police found a gift given by the provider of an online gambling website to Gunawan Sadbor’s TikTok account, @sadbor86. Then, the judol provider account recorded the Sadbor account screen while promoting their site.

“The live stream was re-uploaded by the tiktok account @f *********, that’s where the perpetrator played. The actions taken by AS, in the t -flow, providing promotional sentences for the website,” explained Samian.

“Mr. *** wadidaw sir f****. This shows that the promotion for streaming viewers was done consciously and deliberately,” said Samian, imitating the person who committed the crime S alias T in the video recording related to gambling consolidation. website.

Sadbor’s colleague, A Supendi alias Toed, played the same role. When he hosted live on his TikTok account, Toed also promoted the judol website on Sadbor’s account.

Toed’s figure then went viral after the video clip was widely discussed by several other content creators. Samian said Toed was clearly promoting a gambling site.

“The live stream was done on Saturday (26/10/2024) at which time a gift was given, at which time the suspect T (Toed) promoted the website, a gift was received, and the then the live stream was reloaded. with the website’s TikTok account gambling,” he said.

From this case, the police obtained several pieces of evidence, including two cell phones that were used for live streaming. “Then an account book in the name of G (Gunawan), then a set of blue clothes and black training that AS (Toed) uses during live streaming, then a blue speaker, a black tripod to support given to the cell phone during live streaming, Samian. explained.

As a result of their actions, Sadbor and Toed are at risk of being prosecuted under Article 45 paragraph 3 in conjunction with Article 27 paragraph 2 of Law No. 1 of 2024 regarding Information and Electronic Transactions and/or Article 55 paragraph 1 1 of the Criminal Code. The maximum penalty is 10 years in prison and a fine of IDR 10 billion.
