“Today, doctors informed his family that there was no hope and recommended that the decision to end his life be made,” Sizemore’s spokesman said Monday evening. “The family is currently in the process of deciding the end of life and will make an announcement on Wednesday.”
On the morning of February 18, Sizemore was found unconscious in his Los Angeles home after suffering a stroke.
Sizemore had a successful film career spanning several decades, appearing in such notable films as Oliver Stone’s 1989 Born on the Fourth of July with Tom Cruise and Willem Dafoe, Kathryn Bigelow’s 1991 Point Break with Patrick Swayze and Keanu Reeves, 1994 Oliver Stone’s Natural Born Killers with Woody Harrelson, Juliette Lewis, Robert Downey Jr., Tommy Lee Jones, 1995 in Michael Mann’s Heat with Al Pacino, Robert De Niro, Jon Voight and Val Kilmer, in Steven Spielberg’s 1998 Saving Private Ryan with Tom Hanks and Matt Damon.
On the other hand, fans of computer games will remember Sizemore as the voice of the main villain of the legendary 2002 game “Grand Theft Auto Vice City”, mafia boss Sonny Forelli. This game is special not only with the thriller plot and the open world, but with the cast of celebrities who voiced the game’s characters, which could decorate any Hollywood movie. It should be noted that Ray Liotta, the voice actor of the main role, passed away last year.
