Current times are by no means easy, mainly due to the high energy cost that has brought not only Italy to its knees, but the whole of Europe.
The conflicts in Ukraine that erupted about twelve months ago were undoubtedly the promoters of this drastic change, bringing with them significant consequences that have been reflected like wildfire on the entire European continent.
First of all, we recall that there was a practically uncontrolled increase in the cost of raw materials, which then had repercussions at the level of the entire food sector, generating inflation never seen before. However, the most important consequence of the conflicts in Ukraine undoubtedly remains the uncontrolled increase in the cost of energy, both in the form of methane gas and as regards electricity.
These increases have in fact led the main energy supply companies to raise the costs of their monthly energy bills proportionally, causing not a little unease at the level of the entire European population.
Fortunately, the governments of the main European nations have taken action in this direction, issuing various decrees aimed precisely at dealing with this burdensome situation, and meeting the populations most in need of help.
In the case of the Italian government we cite for example the Aiuti-Bis decree and the Aiuti-Ter decree, which introduced, among other things, the facilitations for the installation of a photovoltaic system inside one’s own home, as well as all the planned for the purchase of a new high energy efficiency class household appliance, which by consuming less allows you to save considerable amounts at the end of the year.
However, this was not enough for many families, who, despite the very precious regional and state aid, found themselves in serious difficulty in paying their monthly energy bills, often struggling to make ends meet, especially if they by 5 or more members within them and receive only one income.

This is how today we decided to provide you with some useful advice and tricks for saving electricity, and consequently saving on bills at the end of the month.
In particular, today we will focus on television, a device that with the spread of smart TVs we use more and more nowadays, both to see free-to-air programs and to take advantage of the main streaming platforms such as Netflix, Amazon Prime Video, Disney Plus , Apple TV+ and so on.
Our advice in this case is to turn off the television directly by unplugging the power supply plug, without using the remote control, since in this case you would enter stand-by mode, and this mode involves a consumption of 1 kWh each 1000 hours. By doing so we will consequently have a lower consumption of electricity, and the bills that will arrive will be lighter.
