The platform opens today, Monday 11/3, for submitting requests to the “Save – Business” program specifically for hotels and accommodation, which will remain open until 31/3.
The program concerns businesses that operate in Greece, have a Greek VAT number, are active on the date of submission of the application and have been established until 12/31/2023 with the aim of improving energy efficiency.
Energy-efficient equipment includes, among others, heating systems using heat pumps, but also solar heating systems, replacement of energy-intensive machinery and business equipment, etc. At the same time, costs related to relevant services are covered, e.g. the cost of transport, installation, configuration of the new equipment, the energy audit, etc.
The reinforcements
The small businesses they can submit applications with a maximum eligible expenditure budget of 20,000 euros, with the percentage of the corresponding aid being 50% of this, i.e. up to 10,000 euros.
The medium and large enterprises they can submit applications with a maximum budget of eligible expenses of 25,000 euros, with the percentage of the corresponding aid reaching 40% of them, that is, they can also receive aid up to 10,000 euros.
Applications for participation in “Change device for businesses” are submitted through the program’s electronic platform. It is noted that the direct evaluation method (First in-First out) will be applied.
