Ex-People’s Deputy Nadezhda Savchenko published in Facebook their photos in a burqa, taken in a Turkish mosque. She also discussed the advantages of Islam over other world religions.
Islam is a religion of freedom, not oppression, she said.
“In the modern world, Islam is habitually perceived as a religion of oppression and infringement of human rights, especially women. Few will see that Islam is a religion of space and freedom for the soul, spirit and faith in God – Allah,” the message says.
According to her, it is the countries where the majority of citizens profess one religion that are the strongest.
“Empires are built and strengthened, relying on the importance of the church in the state, and unite people around the moral principles of religion, and only then build up the economy thanks to the desire of an obedient and united people.
