Saudi Sports Arbitration Center Demands Bank Accounts of Al-Ittihad Club’s Defender and Agent Within 48 Hours

The Saudi Sports Arbitration Center asked the management of Al-Ittihad Club, Ahmed Sharahili, the defender of its first football team, and Abdullah Al-Khalifa, his agent, to send bank accounts to them within 48 hours, according to what a private source revealed to Al-Riyadh.
This comes in the wake of the hearing session held by the Saudi Center, last Tuesday, via the “Zoom” application, against the background of the federation’s negotiation with the international defender during the validity of his contract with the youth, as the youth claim.
According to the same source, the “arbitration” request came in order to view their bank transfers, and to ensure that no amounts were paid to the player or his business agent during the last year of Sharahili’s professional contract with his former club, Al-Shabab.
According to other sources, Khaled Al-Baltan, president of Al-Shabab Club, demanded during the session the importance of taking the oath by the international defender, and Anmar Al-Haili, president of the Western Club, not to negotiate with the player, and that Sharahili not receive any sums during the validity of his contract, in addition to summoning witnesses to take Their conversation, led by Talal Al-Sheikh, the executive director of football at the Al-Asimi Club, and Tariq bin Jedeh, the team’s translator, in addition to a person who was with the youth president and the president of the federation during the last pilgrimage.
The session witnessed the absence of the representative of the Saudi Football Association, while Khaled Al-Baltan, president of the club, lawyer Yaqoub Al-Mutair, Nabil Al-Qahtani, lawyer for the player Ahmed Sharahili, and Fahd Barabaa, lawyer for Al-Ittihad Club, attended.
