Saudi Space Authority to Broadcast EX2 Mission Launch into Space on Twitter

The Saudi Space Authority is showing, on its Twitter account, a live broadcast of the arrival of the EX2 mission into space, on Monday, as a rocket launched on a special mission organized by the American company, “Axiom Space”, to the International Space Station.

A SpaceX-produced Falcon 9 rocket, carrying Saudi astronauts Rayana Barnawi and Ali Al-Qarni, launched from the Kennedy Space Center in Florida, USA, accompanied by former NASA astronaut Peggy Whitson and American entrepreneur John Schofner.

According to the Saudi Space Authority, the most important next steps for astronauts, according to the Kingdom’s time:

  • The completion of the docking maneuver with the International Space Station: (4:24 pm)
  • Opening the capsule door in preparation for the landing of the pioneers: Time (6:13 pm)
  • Ceremony to welcome astronauts to the International Space Station: (6:45 pm)
