Saudi Arabia’s Al-Ahly announced the transfer of its player Saud Abdul Hamid to Italian club Roma, making him the first Saudi, but not the first Arab.
The Arabs registered their presence in the ranks of “Wolves” at the beginning of the millennium through the Egyptian striker Ahmed Hossam (Mido) in 2004, with whom he played 14 games in 8 months before being on loan to Tottenham, England.

Salah became the second Egyptian and the fourth Arab to wear a Roma shirt in 2015.
