Saudi National Team Faces Injury Woes: Marwan Al-Sahafi Absent from Training as Preparations for Asian Qualifiers Begin

The medical staff of the first Saudi national football team announced today that the player Marwan Al-Sahafi was absent from group training, after he felt muscle pain.

The Saudi Football Association explained in an official statement that the journalist was happy to do special exercises with the medical team, on the sidelines of the start of the Al-Akhdar preparatory camp for the matches between Japan and Bahrain in the Asian qualifiers for the Cup of Universe 2026.

It should be noted that the technical director of the national team, Roberto Mancini, had decided to send the player Sultan Al-Ghannam out of the camp as well, due to the injury he suffered when he was involved in his club.

The Saudi national team continues its training in Jeddah in preparation for the Japan and Bahrain matches, which will be held at the King Abdullah Sports City Stadium.
