Roberto Mancini, coach of the Saudi national football team, revealed that he will call new players to the roster at the team’s next gathering in October.
The Saudi national team lost its second friendly match in its camp in Newcastle, on Tuesday, to South Korea, 1-0.
The Italian coach said in statements to Al Arabiya after the match: We are not happy because we lost, but we still have a lot of work to do. We only conducted five training sessions, and we wasted many opportunities against South Korea.
He added: I am happy to assume responsibility for coaching Saudi Arabia, and I feel confident that we will do a good job, and we must improve, and in the coming weeks we will play some matches and I will call in new players.
