Saudi National Executed for Murder of Ahed bint Saud bin Abdulaziz Al-Ruwaili by Ministry of Interior

Al-Marsad Newspaper: Today, the Ministry of Interior issued a statement regarding the execution of the death penalty for one of the perpetrators, as follows:

God Almighty said (The recompense of those who wage war against God and His Messenger and strive to spread corruption in the land is only that they be killed, or crucified, or their hands cut off, or expel them from the strife, or exile them from the land; that is for them a disgrace in this world, and for them in the Hereafter is a grievous chastisement).

Sari bin Khalid bin Muhammad Al-Ghamdi – a Saudi national – killed / Ahed bint Saud bin Abdulaziz Al-Ruwaili – a Saudi national – by stalking her and entering her family’s house, then stabbed her with a knife several times in separate parts of her body, which led to her death.

By the grace of God, the security authorities were able to arrest the aforementioned perpetrator, and the investigation with him resulted in him being charged with committing his crime and referring him to the competent court. He was sentenced to death, an end to the killing of the victim, Ghaila, and the ruling was upheld by the Court of Appeal and the Supreme Court, and a royal order was issued to implement what was decided by law and was supported by its reference.

The death sentence was executed by the perpetrator / Sari bin Khaled bin Muhammad Al-Ghamdi – a Saudi national – on Thursday, 11/19/1444 AH, corresponding to 6/8/2023 AD, in the northern border area.

And the Ministry of the Interior, announcing this to confirm the keenness of the Kingdom’s government to establish security, achieve justice, and implement God’s rulings for anyone who transgresses the innocent or sheds their blood, and at the same time warns everyone who tempts himself to do so that the Sharia punishment will be his fate.
