Jeddah: The program of the 92nd Saudi National Day has begun. Turki Bin Abdul Muhsin Alusheikh, president of the Public Entertainment Authority, said there will be large and varied programs across the country on National Day entitled “This is our home”.
The celebration will last from the 18th to the 26th of this month in various regions of the country. All regions are gearing up for national celebrations. The main event is naval and air drills conducted by a group of soldiers using fighter jets, helicopters, civilian aircraft, ships and boats. Through the air show, planes will fly into the sky to greet the country, its people and its rulers with pride and glory under the title of “Kingdom Health”.
For 10 days, the Royal Saudi Air Force will conduct aerial displays using Typhoon, F-15S, Tornado and F-15C aircraft in 14 cities. There will be a national march with military vehicles, squads of knights and cavalry.
The Ministry of the Interior will also present various programs on the occasion of the celebrations of the National Day. Programs presented under the title “Pride of the Nation Programs” will offer viewers a rich experience.
There will also be a virtual theater with the participation of security personnel, live music performances by the Ministry’s military band and a variety of entertainment programs for all ages.
The capital Riyadh and the city of Jeddah will witness special events.
There will also be a procession along the main streets with the participation of the Royal Guard, the Cavalry, the Royal Band and vintage cars.
For the 92nd Saudi National Day, the world-class circus company “Circue du Soleil” will present a specially designed circus show. Various programs will be organized from the 21st to the 24th of this month at the Amira Noora bint Abdurrahman University of Riyadh.
Celebrations showcasing the country’s history and national heritage will be held in public parks across 13 regions of the country.
It will include several entertainment and interactive programs, heritage exhibits and craft exhibits.
There will also be huge fireworks that will light up the skies of 18 cities across the country.
A national anthem highlighting Saudi history will be staged at the Amir Mohammed bin Abdulaziz Sports City in Medina.
The stars of Saudi music, the Gulf and Arab music will line up in the programs of various fields. Turki Alusheikh also claimed that artists such as Muhammad Abdu, Ibadi Al-Jauhar, Rabih Sakhr, Majid Al-Muhandis, Ahlam, Angam and Ahmad Saad will sing in the concerts.
