Riyadh- The Saudi Ministry of Hajj and Umrah has announced that permanent residents of the European Union (EU), United Kingdom (UK) and United States (US) can perform Umrah without obtaining a visa in advance.
The ministry said the move is aimed at simplifying the Umrah pilgrimage process and ensuring high-quality services in line with Saudi Arabia’s Vision 2030.
Those wishing to perform Umrah can easily schedule their pilgrimage through the Nusk app. Or you can directly choose Umrah when you arrive in Saudi, the ministry said.
Visa on arrival option has also been extended to residents of these countries, whether for performing Umrah or for tourism. Close relatives of the visa holder can also avail this facility.
Option to perform Umrah is also available on transit visa. If the journey is via a Saudi airline, Umrah can be performed and returned.
