“Riyadh Airlines” is coming
The new national airline has been named Riyadh Airlines. Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman announced that the new airline will be funded by the Saudi Public Investment Fund. The company will operate from Riyadh, the capital of Saudi Arabia. Its operations will be done in a way that connects the continents of Asia, Africa and Europe. Riyadh will become a major hub for managing operations and a starting point for flights.

The latest technologies that ensure safety in the aviation sector will be used here. A group of local and international experts will come in to lead Riyadh Airlines. The new airline will be chaired by Public Investment Fund Governor Yasser Al Rumayyan. Tony Douglas, who has over 40 years of experience in the transportation, aviation and logistics sectors, has been appointed as the company’s CEO.

5. Reach 330 million passengers by 2030. Flights will start to more than 250 destinations.
6. Increase domestic and international networking. Riyadh Aviation’s new plans will be in line with its national strategy for transport and logistics services in the air transport sector
