Riyadh: An online celebrity has been punished in Saudi Arabia for making remarks that are considered harmful to family values. A fine of 100,000 Riyals (Rs. 22,13,787) was imposed and the license was revoked.

The action was taken by the Saudi General Authority of Media Regulation, which monitors media activities. In a statement, the authority said that action has been taken against the Snapchat influencer for making inappropriate expressions that instigate the disintegration of family relationships.
