Saudi Family Descendants of Jews Enemies of the Prophet Muhammad

Jakarta, CNN Indonesia

Marine Commander IranGeneral Alireza Tangsiri, said the royal family Arab Saudi is currently of Jewish descent.

Tangsiri said the Saudis were the same Jews who opposed the Prophet Muhammad in Arabia at that time.

This statement was made by Tangsiri in a speech on January 7, 2022 which was broadcast on Iranian television Bushehr TV.

“Is the Saud clan (extended family) really Muslim? They are the same Jews who were in Arabia at that time,” said Tangsiri as quoted from Memri TV.

On that occasion, Tangsiri also said Iran’s conflict with Saudi Arabia reminded him of the 7th century battle between Muslim and Jewish tribes.

“The enemy’s revenge against Haji Qasem [Soleimani] resembles their revenge against Imam Hussein in Karbala,” he said, referring to Ali’s son, the first Shia Muslim imam, and the battle in which he was killed that became a formative event for Shia Islam.

“That’s similar too [dendam] in the war of Uhud and Khaybar by Jews who only mentioned the name Muslim. This grudge is still there.”

He also admitted that he could not bear to see the injustice in which Muslims in Islamic countries were massacred by “Zionists” and descendants of Jews.

“We cannot bear to see injustice in Muslim countries perpetrated by Zionists and descendants of Jews. [Kami tidak tahan melihat] that Muslims are being slaughtered by people who call themselves Christians but are not,” he said.

“These are the same Jews, I would rather say Zionists, whose hearts were never in harmony with Islam, and even with the Prophet of his time,” he stressed.

Relations between Iran and Saudi Arabia have had their ups and downs for a long time. It happened during the 43 years since the Iranian revolution.

Iran under the leadership of Ruhollah Musavi Khomeini was very aggressive because it wanted to fight over the leadership of the Muslim world, according to writer Kim Ghattas at CSIS.

Khomeini downplayed the Saudi role as custodian of Islam’s two holy sites to the point where Riyadh was threatened. Therefore, the Saudis began to carry out propaganda against Iran.

Relations between the two countries were also bad due to differences in religious views. The leadership of Iran itself has so far adhered to the Shia sect, while the Saudis have been Sunni.

Shia is a view labeled as radical and very conservative. This view is different from the Sunni Saudis who are considered more subtle.

Even though the two Middle Eastern countries are drifting apart, there are signs that Iran and Saudi Arabia will get along again.

Recently, Iranian Foreign Minister Hossein Amir-Abdollahian said that Iran is “ready to restore relations” and that the move “will have a positive impact on the entire region.”
