Saudi Energy Minister Talks Tom Cruise and Clean Hydrogen Production

Dubai, United Arab Emirates (CNN) – Social media activists circulated video clips of statements made by the Saudi Minister of Energy, Prince Abdulaziz bin Salman, and what he said about a movie by the American actor, Tom Cruise.

And Prince Abdulaziz bin Salman says in the circulating video clip, which was published by the Saudi Al-Arabiya channel, in response to a question from Japanese media professionals: “All I remember about Tom Cruise is his three films (Mission Impossible), and we believe that our mission is possible.”

The video clip circulated during the visit of the Saudi Minister of Energy and the Saudi Minister of Investment, Khalid Al-Falih, and a number of officials, to the tanker “Suiso Frontier”, affiliated with the Japanese company Kawasaki, which is currently moored in the Jeddah Islamic Port, and it is the first marine tanker in the world prepared for the transportation of liquefied hydrogen, where Saudi officials were briefed on the innovative technologies that were used in building the tanker, according to what was reported by the Saudi Ministry of Energy in a report.

The ministry stated that the Kingdom focuses, among other aspects, on producing hydrogen, which is one of the sources of clean energy, as part of the Kingdom’s plans to achieve leadership at the international level in the clean hydrogen production and export sector.
