Saudi Disciplinary and Ethics Committee Makes Decisions on Football Club Protests and Fines

The Disciplinary and Ethics Committee of the Saudi Football Association announced, on Sunday, the rejection of Al-Hilal Club’s protest against the expulsion of Serbian player Sergei Savic, the team’s player, in front of Al-Raed, in the third round, of the Saudi Roshen League, and the confiscation of the protest fees.
Al-Riyadiah sources stated that the suspension of Serbian Sergei Savic, player of Al-Hilal football team, was limited to one match, and the penalty was not increased, which means his participation in the Al-Ittihad match in the fifth round of the Saudi Roshen League.
According to the operative part of the decision published on the official website of the Football Association, the protest was formally accepted and objectively rejected, with the possibility of the club protesting the decision.
The committee fined Al-Nasr Club 50,000 riyals, after Amin Bukhari and Ali Al-Hassan, the two-team team, entered the dressing rooms of Al-Nasr Club, during the Al-Fateh confrontation, and they are not registered in the team’s list, according to what was stated in the match observer’s report.
In another decision, the committee fined Al-Nasr Club an amount of 15,000 riyals as a penalty for the delay of the players of its first team in entering the field during the Al-Fateh confrontation, which led to a delay in the start of the second half of the match that ended with Al-Nasr’s victory “5-0”.
The committee imposed a fine of 10,000 riyals on Al-Hazm Club after the Al-Hazm club administrator delayed handing over the list for the team’s match against Al-Fayhaa, according to what was stated in the match observer’s report.
