Jakarta, CNBC Indonesia – Israel’s attack on Gaza finally received a strong response from the Crown Prince of Saudi Arabia and Prime Minister Mohammed bin Salman (MBS).

He called for a global movement to stop Israel’s brutal attacks on the Gaza Strip, Palestine. This was conveyed at the BRICS virtual meeting earlier this week.

At that moment, he urged all countries to boycott Israel regarding arms exports to the Jewish country. It is known that several countries in the world, especially the West, continue to be weapons suppliers for the Zionist country.

He also emphasized the Kingdom’s rejection of the forced transfer of Palestinians from the Gaza Strip. MBS also requested that massive aid immediately enter the Gaza Strip.

“The Kingdom’s position is constant and firm; there is no way to achieve security and stability in Palestine except through the implementation of international decisions regarding the two-state solution,” he was quoted as saying. Saudi Gazette Saturday (25/11/2023).

“The BRICS Summit was held at a difficult time for the Gaza Strip, and we reiterated our firm rejection of Israel’s operations in the Gaza Strip,” he explained.

He emphasized that Gaza has witnessed brutal crimes against civilians, innocent people, health facilities and places of worship. He said that the humanitarian disaster must be stopped and humanitarian corridors must be opened.

It is known that BRICS is a group of developing country economies with permanent members namely Brazil, Russia, India, China and South Africa (South Africa). Saudi Arabia, Argentina, Egypt, Ethiopia, Iran and the United Arab Emirates (UAE) joined earlier this year.

The BRICS battle was a sudden meeting initiated by Iran to discuss Israel’s war in Gaza. On that occasion, Tehran urged BRICS to use its influence to break Israel’s “siege” on Gaza and ensure the safe delivery of humanitarian aid.

“This fake regime must be recognized as a terrorist regime and its army considered as a terrorist organization,” Iranian President Ebrahim Raisi was quoted as saying by Russia Today, while appealing to members of the bloc to recognize the Palestinian state’s right to self-defense while cutting ties with Israel.

“In light of the persistent crimes (committed) by and racist nature of the false regime of Israel, the free countries (of the world) expect all governments especially the BRICS member countries to immediately raise the issue of severing political, economic and military relations with Israel “This regime is the main agenda,” he explained.

Raisi also requested that BRICS open an investigation into the alleged use of illegal white phosphorus. Including other prohibited weapons by Israel against civilians in Gaza.

“Iran will support South Africa’s joint efforts, filed with four other countries on Friday at the International Criminal Court, to investigate whether war crimes have been committed in Gaza,” he added.

It is known that Russian President Vladimir Putin, Chinese President Xi Jinping and UN Secretary General António Guterres were among the leaders who delivered speeches at the meeting. The meeting itself was held online.
