The Saudi Investment Company for Recycling “SRIK” signed a joint memorandum of understanding with the Abu Dhabi Waste Management Company “Tadweer”.

The MoU aims to explore potential investment opportunities in the waste management and recycling sector in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, by exploring joint options for adopting technology and ideal recycling solutions, activating operational activities in the waste sector and feasible solutions for treating solid municipal waste and converting it into energy, relying on resources And trained human capacities with an interest in raising awareness in the recycling and waste sector.

The memorandum aims to exchange studies and research that would enhance aspects of cooperation that contributed to achieving the Saudi Green Initiative in order to promote sustainability and preserve the environment, according to the Saudi Press Agency, SPA.

Through this memorandum and other memorandums, the Circus Group seeks to activate the circular economy initiative to achieve the goals and programs of the Kingdom’s Vision 2030.
