Saudi Arabia unites Ronaldo and Messi

Paris (dpa)

Portuguese star Cristiano Ronaldo is preparing to make his debut for his new club Al-Nasr Saudi Arabia in a friendly against Paris Saint-Germain, led by Argentine star Lionel Messi.
Saint-Germain has announced it will play a friendly in Riyadh on January 19 against a joint team of Al-Nasr and Al-Hilal.
Ronaldo reportedly waited until January 22 to play his first match for Al-Nasr, when he met Al-Ettifaq in the Saudi League, but his first appearance could come three days earlier.

Ronaldo had fierce competition with Messi, during his professional stint at Real Madrid, coinciding with Messi’s glow in the ranks of Barcelona.
