Riyadh: Saudi Arabia has again been selected as the country that offers the highest salary to expatriates. Saudi Arabia has emerged as the world’s highest paying country for expatriate middle managers in the ‘MyExpatriate Market Pay Survey’ by international consultancy Employment Conditions Abroad (ECA). Saudi Arabia has been selected as the country with the highest salaries for middle managers in the world in a survey conducted on the working conditions of expatriates.
An expatriate middle manager in Saudi Arabia earns an annual salary of £83,763, which is Rs 88,58,340. According to the survey, this is 20,513 pounds (Rs. 21,69,348) more than in the UK. The survey shows that the highest salary is still in Saudi Arabia, although there has been a decrease of three percent compared to the previous year. The ECA considered three main factors in the survey namely cash salary, benefit allowances and taxes.

16 lakh job opportunities in Saudi tourism sector by 2030
RIYADH: The Ministry of Tourism has a plan to create 1.6 lakh jobs in the field of tourism in Saudi Arabia by 2030, said Mohammad Bashnaq, Under Secretary of the Ministry of Human Resource Development. Through the training program launched by the Ministry of Tourism in 2020, five lakh Saudi citizens were provided training in three years.
As a part of the project, more than 90 training projects are being implemented. Last year, 198 senior employees in the tourism sector completed the Executive Masters program. The ministry believes that indigenization in the tourism sector should start with improving jobs and from the top positions. Mohammad Bashnaq also said that Saudis are qualified to work in high positions.
