Saudi Arabia to Hold Hajj in 2021

Jakarta, CNN Indonesia

Saudi Arabia decided to hold worship the hadj in 2021.

Reporting from Reuters, The Saudi Direction government will apply special conditions to guard against the Covid-19 pandemic.

The Ministry of Haj and Umrah announced this on state TV, Saudi Direction. The ministry said that it would hold a haj pilgrimage with special conditions.

However, the mechanisms and conditions for organizing this year’s hajj will be announced later.

Previously, the Saudi Arabian government was still discussing the possibility of banning the pilgrimage for pilgrims from abroad.

Last year, Saudi Arabia allowed a small number of domestic worshipers to perform the Haj. Pilgrims who were allowed to go on the Hajj last year were expatriates who live there and local residents.
