Dubai, United Arab Emirates (CNN) – The Minister of Islamic Affairs in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, Abd al-Latif Al-Sheikh, saw on Wednesday that the time of “debt traffickers has ended irrevocably,” describing them as “clowns.”
Abdul Latif Al-Sheikh said, in statements on the sidelines of his inspection of the ministry’s branch in the eastern region of the Kingdom: “The preaching platforms are now 100 percent controlled, and thousands are authorized to perform these actions that the prophets preceded them to, calling to God Almighty with wisdom, good preaching, and arguing in the best way,” as he put it.
The Minister of Islamic Affairs in Saudi Arabia: “The time for clowns, actors, wrestlers, activists and reformers of the call is over,” he said.
And Abdul Latif Al-Sheikh added, saying: “Now there are preachers, praise be to God, at a very distinguished level. They fear God and fear Him, and they have abundant knowledge. They are the sons of this country and are keen to present what they have of knowledge,” he said.
And the Minister of Islamic Affairs continued: “As for the actors, clowns, people who make fun of people, and the reckless who want to come to you what others have come to you, their time has ended irrevocably, God willing,” as he put it.
