Dubai, United Arab Emirates (CNN) – The former imam of the Grand Mosque in Mecca, Adel Al-Kalbani, took two pictures with the Argentine star Lionel Messi and the brilliant Moroccan player Ashraf Hakimi, on Friday, and a conversation took place between him and the second about performing Umrah.
Al-Kalbani published the two photos and the video clip on his documented page on Twitter and commented on it by saying: “With Messi and Ashraf Hakimi.”
The former imam of the Grand Mosque in Mecca appeared with Messi, smiling, as was the case with Hakimi, as part of the Riyadh season match between Al-Hilal Stars, Al-Nasr and French Paris Saint-Germain.
And a conversation took place between Al-Kalbani and Hakimi, as the Moroccan player said to the former imam of the Grand Mosque in Mecca: “I will go tomorrow to perform Umrah,” so Al-Kalbani answered with the phrase: “May God accept.”
It is noteworthy that Paris Saint-Germain had defeated the “Riyadh Season” team by five goals to 4 in the match that was held on the grounds of King Fahd International Stadium in the Saudi capital, Riyadh.
