TEMPO.CO, Jakarta – Government Saudi Arabia has announced the lifting of travel restrictions for foreign travelers who have been vaccinated starting August 1, 2021. The announcement was made last Friday, July 30.

Sesuai Saudi Press Agency, Kementerian Pariwisata Kerajaan Arab Saudi juga menetapkan bahwa pelancong yang divaksinasi tidak akan diharuskan untuk dikarantina jika mereka memiliki sertifikat vaksinasi resmi bersama dengan hasil tes PCR negatif yang diambil dalam waktu 72 jam dari waktu keberangkatan.
"Kami menyambut wisatawan lagi, dan kami sangat senang menerima tamu Kerajaan lagi setelah jeda karena dampak pandemi Coronavirus," kata Menteri Pariwisata, Ahmed Al-Khateeb.
Al Khateeb mengatakan pihaknya akan memastikan keamanan pengunjung ke Kerajaan sehingga wisatawan dapat menikmati menjelajahi wisata negara, tujuan penting dan landmark lainnya.
