Saudi Arabia and the United Arab Emirates (UAE) is said to share intelligence information with the United States and Israelbefore the attack Iran took place last Saturday (13/4).

Media AS, Wall Street Journal (WSJ), said that Israel was able to intercept almost all Iranian drones because of the involvement of Arab countries.

These countries, the report continued, provided intelligence information about attacks, opened airspace to fighter jets, shared radar detection information, and even deployed troops.

The WSJ report said Iranian officials briefed Saudi Arabia and other Gulf countries two days before the attack.

Iranian officials also provided a brief description and timing of the attack plan so that Arab countries could defend their airspace.

This information was passed on to the US and Israel as a form of early warning, he was quoted as saying New ArabicMonday (15/4).

Since Israel attacked Iranian diplomatic facilities in Syria in early April, the US has pressured Arab governments to share information about Iran’s planned attack on Israel.

Iran had vowed to retaliate against Israeli attacks and warned them after the destruction of its Consulate General building in Damascus.

After the initial outbreak, Saudi and UAE shared intelligence information privately. Meanwhile, Jordan said it would allow US and other countries’ warplanes to pass through its airspace.

Jordan also said it was ready to use its warplanes to prevent missiles and drones from Iran from reaching Israel.

In response, the White House asked the Pentagon to redeploy drone and missile defense facilities.

Officials who spoke to the WSJ also said that Iran’s missiles and drones have been monitored since their launch through early warnings in the Gulf nation.

The early warning was linked to the US base of operations in Qatar.

The operations center then relayed information to fighter jets from several countries in Jordanian and other countries’ airspace, warships at sea, and Israeli missile defense batteries.
