JEDDAH – Fast-track courts are being launched at Saudi airports to resolve tourist complaints. The aim is to speed up redressal of complaints of tourists and visitors. The authorities are starting fast-track courts at airports to resolve complaints received from tourists and visitors to Saudi Arabia very quickly.
This step is also a part of providing more facilities to the tourism sector in the country. All airports in the country are serviced by full-time court units.
These will function as a special category under Public Prosecution. A special team will also be set up at the Public Prosecution Headquarters for this purpose. Attorney General and Public Prosecution Council General Sheikh Saud Al Mujab announced the decision in this regard. He said that the new court systems would be very helpful in completing the proceedings in time and ensuring justice in the cases of tourists.
