Saudi Actor Abdul Aziz Al-Hazza Passes Away: A 60-Year Artistic Legacy

The Saudi actor, artist, and monologist, owner of the character “Umm Hadijan,” the artist Abdul Aziz Al-Hazza, died today, after a long artistic career that lasted more than 60 years.

Abdulaziz Al-Hazza, a popular Saudi actor from Unayzah in Al-Qassim, was born on September 6, 1937. He moved to live in Kuwait in the sixties.

He worked in Kuwait as an employee, and he cooperated with the Kuwaiti media at that time. He started his career with Saudi Radio, and then moved to Riyadh due to his circumstances. He was given several titles, the most famous of which was (A Group in a Man).

He has the talent of imitating voices, and he presented many radio series, and among his most prominent works are (Fara Allah and Al-Zaman series, and the Pranks from Life series).

The late artist also presented many acting works that were shown on the radio, most notably Umm Hadijan, and after that he was shown on television.

The funeral prayer for the deceased is scheduled to be performed on Tuesday after the afternoon prayer at Al Rajhi Mosque, and the burial will be in Al Naseem Cemetery. The men’s funeral will be in the cemetery, and the women’s funeral will be in Al-Rajhi Mosque. (Arabic)
