Automated post-processing of additively manufactured parts is indispensable for Sauber Technologies when it comes to being able to produce high-quality and reproducible components cost-effectively, especially on an industrial scale. Last year, the company already benefited from Rösler’s many years of experience in surface processing, as Sauber Technologies relied on post-processing solutions of the Rösler brand AM Solutions – 3D post-processing technology. Several 3D printed parts were also used in the Alfa Romeo F1 Team ORLEN C42, ultimately taking the strategic partnership from the factory to the track. Now Sauber Technologies is extending the partnership concluded in 2021 by another two years. Sauber Technologies and AM Solutions are currently collaborating in the field of post-processing of 3D printed parts, which are produced using SLA (stereolithography) technology. The goal is to develop solutions that maximize the efficiency of the cleaning process and support removal. In addition, Sauber Technologies already uses various vibratory finishing and shot blasting solutions from AM Solutions.
