This infrared light is what scientists observed in their latest research using a special instrument installed on one of the sophisticated telescopes in Hawaii.
From observations, scientists revealed the existence of luminous bands in the Northern and Southern hemispheres of the planet Saturn, which are magnetic field lines that cut the plane of the rings entering the planet, then after scientists analyzed the light to determine the amount of rain from the rings and their effect on Saturn’s ionosphere, the results were that the bands This glow does come from Saturn’s rings, and that all means that currently the planet Saturn is in the process of losing its magnificent rings.
