Saturday the “Aquara Vineyard Trophy” race

All ready to Aquara for the foot race on Saturday 10 August “Aquara Trofeo dei Vigneti”, the first edition which already presents itself as a success for the high level of involvement and participation. The race, organized by the Sports Association “Athletics Libertas Agropoli”with the moral patronage of the Municipality of Aquara, is sponsored, among others, by the BCC of Aquara. Among the participants, two international level athletes, coming from Moroccowill join the group of runners, Akinou Ali e According to Yahyawhile defending the Italian colours will be the Italian middle distance champion, Gilio Iannone.

The mayor of Aquara, Anthony Marinostressed the beauty of this event for the local community: «Gthanks to the commitment of Atletica Libertas Agropoli we are pleased to present an opportunity that goes beyond the competitive aspect. The race represents a moment of celebration of the territory, a space in which sport joins the promotion of health for the concrete invitation to a healthy lifestyle. Thanks also go to the numerous sponsors who have expressed the desire to participate in this important event by providing their own contribution».

The race will pass through the symbolic places of the Municipality of Aquara, offering participants a unique and evocative experience: an eight-kilometer run/walk that winds through the most representative streets of the Borgo. The president of Atletica Libertas Agropoli, Roberto Funicello he stated: «I firmly believe that this event is of fundamental importance and I am convinced that it is destined to become a fixed appointment in the racing panorama, thus contributing to the promotion of sport and health and of the Territory.».

The appointment is for Saturday 10 August according to the following program of the day: 6.00 pm – Meeting in Piazza Vittorio Veneto and delivery of the “Aquara Trofeo dei Vigneti” t-shirt; 6.30 pm – Registration closes at the specially set up desk; 7.00 pm – The race begins. At the end of the event, after the awards ceremony, the participants will be given a commemorative medal and the members of the team that will climb onto the podium will receive, in addition to the prize, a bottle of the Aquaresi “Vino Martino” and “Vino Marchione” wineries.

The registration fee is 10 euros (to be paid either directly on site or by bank transfer to the account with IBAN code IT 15F0760115200000086206380, handing in a receipt at the reception) and it will be possible to register via WhatsApp at the number 368 977 950 or at the desk in Piazza Vittorio Veneto until 6:30 pm on the day of the race. Registration is open to everyone, men and women, Fidal, Runcard Fidal, Runcard EPS members and members of promotion bodies in possession of a certificate of suitability for competitive activity.
