Alice Lemonnier will open her love room Le Banc des Désirs within a few weeks in Aunay-sur Odon. Its duplex of approximately 70 m2 has a spa, a shower and a kitchen, which allows customers to be completely independent. Upstairs, the bed is suspended and a pole dance bar sits in the room. A secret room is present on the premises. You have to find it using clues. In this room there is a particular bench to practice various positions, as well as clothing and costumes (from XS to XXL), for men and women.
A discreet stay
Light effects, mirror on the ceiling, tantra armchair… The Caen tu m’aimes love room, launched by Kévin on July 14 in Caen, also ticks all the criteria. “It was my wife who helped me with the decoration. We wanted something chic and elegant with purple, black and gold colors,” he explains.
Another essential of this type of accommodation: discretion. Many love room owners only communicate the address on the day. “When you arrive, you can park in a private car park. The accommodation is not overlooked. We feel really good there,” adds Yohann from the En Aparté love room. Like the name of his concept, Yohann wants to offer a “real moment away from everyday life, even a few kilometers from home. »
Among the options offered in his studios, we often find deliveries of cheese-charcuterie platters, sushi or a meal prepared by a caterer. Owners establish partnerships with merchants.

How much does it cost ?
With the basic services offered, the price of one night generally amounts to around €200 for two people. The price can quickly rise if the reservation is made on the weekend rather than on a weekday, if the couple has chosen options (meals, wine, love box, sometimes massage, etc.). “In general, people are there to have fun and they choose additional services,” explains Yohann. But when we compare this price to that of a night in a nice hotel which does not offer these services, it remains fair. »

The price does not stop reservations as Kévin and Yohann observe. The first, which only opened in July, recorded 23 nights in August and 16 in September. The second had its biggest month in September since the love room opened last May, with 17 reservations. “Often, people rent for one night and they are mostly people from Calvados. »
But sometimes some rent for three nights and come from much further away. “At home, people are looking for a unique experience, and they perhaps come to Caen just for that,” says Charline Bayeux. She notes, to her surprise, the interest of a young clientele in her offer: 30% of her clients are under 24 years old, and 40% are between 35 and 40 years old.
