Satpol PP Revealed How Holywings Kemang Tricked Officers: Turning Off the Lights

“The parking lot seems to be there, only the front is turned off,” Ujang told reporters, Monday (6/9/2021).

Ujang said the condition was very strange when officers saw the crowded and lined up parking lot of vehicles. Just then, the officers moved quickly and found the crowd.

“We just know that there is a full parking lot, so we’ll visit it,” he said.

Separately, Head of DKI Jakarta Satpol PP Arifin said that turning off the cafe’s front lights is an old method that is often used to trick officers. However, said Arifin, this method did not work for the officers.

“Yes, indeed, if the methods of all business places to commit actual violations are like that, the parking lot is a bit far from the place, then the place also seems closed, the lights go out and so on, it’s normal, we can’t be fooled by that. it’s an old game, so we don’t let it go,” he said.

Previously, cafe Holywings frozen during PPKM. In addition, Holywings was fined Rp. 50 million.

“Tonight, we will impose a fine and also a closure during the suspension, including the freezing during PPKM, (fine) Rp 50 million,” said Ujang Harmawan.

Kafe Holywings in Kemang, South Jakarta, it was known to be raided because it operated until midnight and caused a crowd. The police dispersed the crowd and asked visitors to go home.

Operational hours that exceed the provisions were discovered during a joint patrol led by Karoops Polda Metro Jaya. The operation was carried out on Sunday (5/9), at around 01.00 in the morning.

“We’re just asking them to go home. It’s called PPKM level 3, if there’s a crowd, we urge them to go home,” said Head of the Head of the Traffic Directorate of the Polda Metro Jaya, Dermawan Karosekali to reporters, Sunday (5/9).
