On August 6 at 17.00 Pēterupes ev. lut. In the church, the final concert of the chamber music festival “Satikšanas Saulkrastos” “The subtleties of chamber music” will be performed, in which the internationally recognized string quartet “Akilone” (France/Latvia) will take part. In the concert program: Antonīns Dvoržaks – String Quartet n.14 op.105 in A flat major; Pēteris Vasks – String Quartet n.2 “Vasaras Dziedājumi” and Kristaps Pētersons – “According to the Notes of the Black Gail” for string quartet and violin sounding from afar (first tuning).
The string quartet “Akilone” consists of Magdalena Gek (1st violin), Elize De-Bendelak (2nd violin), Perine Guillemot-Manka (viola), Lucy Mercata (cello), as well as Konstantīns Paturskis (violin that sounds from afar, artistic director of the festival and musician of the chamber orchestra “Kremerata Baltica”).
