What preceded this
On August 22, the Main Intelligence Directorate of the Ministry of Defense reported that the Russian Federation plans to sink at least six watercraft near the bridge in order to create a “protective strip” in front of it.
It was reported that the aggressor country wants to install barriers between the flooded ferries to protect the bridge from damage.
However, yesterday Sky News published fuzzy satellite images and suggested that the Russian Federation could have sunk six ships near the Crimean bridge.
Attacks on the Crimean bridge
Recall that the Crimean bridge, which the Russians built illegally, was attacked twice already.
In October 2022, powerful explosions thundered on it, causing significant damage. The head of the SBU, Vasily Malyuk, confirmed that it was a special operation of his special services.
In July, another attack took place on the Crimean bridge. Then two spans were destroyed. Malyuk also confirmed the involvement of the SBU in this attack. He noted that it was organized with the help of Sea Baby sea drones.
