Satellite Images Confirm Damage to Chongar Bridge: OSINT Researcher

A comparison of satellite images of the bridge on the Chongar Isthmus shows that the bridge is indeed damaged. Shot comparison video posted on Twitter OSINT researcher Hidenori Watanawa.

The researcher compared satellite images of the bridge from July 24 and July 30 and noted the damaged section. He also wrote that there is a train to the north of the bridge in the picture.

Earlier it was reported that on July 29, 2023, the Defense Forces launched a successful attack on the Chongar Bridge.

The Chongarsky bridge connects the temporarily occupied Crimea with the Zaporozhye region, where the offensive of the Armed Forces of Ukraine continues.

On June 22, the Armed Forces of Ukraine also struck along the Chongar bridge in the occupied Kherson region. OK “South” stated that damage to bridges in the Chongar area would “undermine” the logistics of the occupiers.
