“MODERNIZATION OF THE WORK SYSTEMâ€
During the activity, Quiñonez mentioned that both entities have agreed to establish a work agenda, which is why they are starting the year with this interinstitutional cooperation agreement.
“This route marks the beginning of strengthening one of the four work axes of our action plan, which is the modernization of the work system and public administration of Guatemala City; That, at the same time, has to do with innovation and technology,” he explained.
Likewise, he highlighted that the Municipality of Guatemala has developed a set of efforts for the better administration of the territory. “Within the efforts we have built a multipurpose cadastre whose purpose is not only to collect the land tax, but also to have planning tools,†he mentioned.
Knowledge of the territory, the digitalization of what happens, allows this information to be used to articulate strategies and reinforcements in the field of public, territorial administration and in the field of municipal services, the mayor noted.
