The city of Sastre already has the first Digital Classroom. After a long wait, the head of the department of San Martín inaugurated the new facilities on Monday afternoon with an event led by the mayor of the Government, María del Carmen Amero. A Distance Education Center of a higher education institution will operate in the location, training from another educational institution and courses from the Santa Fe Capacita Program will be provided. “It was an extensive journey of 4 years. The pandemic, at the time, stopped the whole project. But finally we managed to have this much needed digital center for all those who want to continue their studies,” said the head of the central government of the western region.
With the capacity for about 15 people to work at the same time, the new educational space cut ribbons on Monday afternoon, marking a historic starting point in educational matters for Sastre. “We started with a series of computers, we are taking all the necessary steps to continue equipping the place,” said Nicolás Seveso, who is in charge of the Municipal Employment Office, in communication with this medium .
The Virtual Classroom, located in an area next to the City Palace (May 25, 1980), is a place to deliver various training sessions promoted by a series of institutions, including a house higher education. “In that place, computer related courses will be held. In this sense, they said that registration started this Monday, which will be digital or in the city from Monday to Friday. The courses will have a face-to-face format, free of charge and a workload of 60 hours distributed in two weekly classes of two hours each. The completion will be in the month of August.
