The Sragen Police arrested the perpetrator of the murder of a young woman whose body was found floating on the edge of the Kembangan Reservoir, Dukuh Kembangan, Mojorejo Village, Karangmalang, Sragen Sunday (11/4/2021) morning.
The perpetrator of the female killer from Dukuh Krandegan, RT 30/14, Mojorejo Village, Karangmalang, Sragen was known as Edi Santoso (23) a resident of Wonokerso Village, Kedawung District, Sragen.
The young man with shaggy blonde hair was arrested less than 12 hours after the discovery of the corpse. Sragen Police Chief AKBP Yuswanto Ardi during a press conference at the Police Headquarters Monday (12/4/2021) revealed that the suspect was secured while on Jalan Indomaret Kedawung Sragen.
“We secured the suspect less than 12 hours after the victim’s body was found. The suspect with the initials ES from Kedawung Sragen. He has not worked, he is 23 years old, “said the Police Chief.
This morning, the suspect was presented at the Sragen Police Headquarters in the disclosure of the case by the Police. The police chief said the suspect’s relationship was a friend of the victim.
From the results of the investigation, the suspect admitted to killing the victim by pushing his body into the reservoir. As a result of the urge, the victim’s body then fell into the reservoir and his head hit a rock.
The urge came after the perpetrator went crazy because his request to have intercourse was rejected by the victim. Previously, they had a ciu alcohol party with six of the suspect’s friends near the reservoir.

When the perpetrator is drunk heavily due to the influence of alcohol, his lust arises. He asked the victim to have sex but was refused.
The refusal made the perpetrator furious. The perpetrator had threatened that if he did not want to serve it, he would mention it to the reservoir.
“The victim still refused, so the perpetrator was determined to make his threat. He then pushed the victim’s body until it fell into the reservoir. Because the victim’s condition was not fit due to the influence of alcohol, so he could not save himself at that time. The victim later died from drowning, ”explained the Police Chief.
The police chief added that the team would complete the suspect’s statement and the autopsy results from the dr Moewardi Hospital in Solo to clearly reveal the murder case.
