At the call of the union union of hospital from Saint-Calais (Sarthe), a gathering is organised Tuesday 15 June 2021 from 9:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. in front of emergency room.
An event that aims to be an alert as to the situation.
Alert on the closing of emergencies
For several months, the service must to close regularly for periods of 24 hours because there is a shortage of emergency physicians. “For the month of June, there are five to seven guards who are not staffed. In July, things are going more or less, but in August, it’s a disaster, ”explains Magali Metais, FO representative.
The purpose of the event is to draw attention to emergencies, in difficulty.
“We know that the situation is the same elsewhere. Is a life in Saint-Calais worth less than a life near Le Mans or near Tours? The State has a responsibility, it must be responsible for the presence of emergency services in the territory. “
This gathering is open to everyone.
