The Algerian international of Lazio of Rome, Mohamed Fares, will know a new coach from next season, after the departure of Simone Inzaghi who has just been appointed head of Inter Milan, champion of Italy this season.
According to the Italian sports press, the management of Lazio Rome would be very close to reaching an agreement with the former Chelsea coach Maurizio Sarri. The Italian technician has been free since the end of his adventure at Juventus in Turin in August 2020, the day after the elimination of Juventus in the round of 16 of the UEFA Campions League facing the Olympique Lyonnais. The deal could be formalized in the coming hours.
Mohamed Fares, who was not selected by the national coach, Djamel Belmadi, for the three friendlies, has played 21 matches with his club this season. A difficult year in which he was not spared from injuries which kept him away from the field for several weeks.
