As part of the control of the territory and the safety of citizens, the Municipal Police of Sarno has started an activity of prevention and repression of violations of the highway code. For some time the Municipal Police command, also thanks to the strengthening of personnel, has intensified control activities from the center to the peripheries with preventive actions. Last night the traffic police were involved in an operation aimed at ensuring greater road safety.
Checkpoints have been set up in various strategic areas of the city, with the aim of verifying the regularity of the documents of the vehicles and their drivers, as well as preventing possible illicit behaviour. During the operation, 30 vehicles were stopped and checked and 40 people, including drivers and passengers, were identified.
