Sarmiento vs. Tigre, for the Professional League: result, summary and more

El Verde and El Matador drew 0-0: both teams are still without direction in the standings. The VAR disallowed a goal for the home team due to offside.

Sarmiento and Tigre tied 0-0 at the Eva Perón Stadium, for the eleventh date of the 2024 Professional League. Neither team was able to climb the standings.

El Matador created the best dangerous situations in a first half that started with little rhythm. A header to the ground by Florián Monzón, a backheel by Martín Ortega and a crossbar by Gonzalo Maroni almost broke the tie in Junín.

El Verde, for their part, tried with a left-footed shot from Juan Manuel Insaurralde that kissed the post and a shot from Ezequiel Naya that was aimed at the angle.

The second half was dominated by Sarmiento, with a dangerous left-footed shot from Manuel Mónaco, a miss from Gabriel Gudiño under the goal and a goal disallowed by Joaquín Gho due to an offside by Gudiño, who obstructed Felipe Zenobio’s view.

However, Tigre finished with a better image thanks to the changes, especially that of Bernardo Romeo Benítez. He had two in the last minutes but Thyago Ayala kept the score at zero until the final whistle.
